I SEE PINK! I SEE PINK!

My friend Steve told me that he saw a spoonbill in a certain pond, and I always glance, but have never seen one...until today. I glanced, and I saw pink. I thought there was lots of pink, like 9-10 spoonbills.

But, it was not to be. Only 2 spoonbills, and 1 flew away as soon as I pulled up. The rest of the 9-10 were ibises.

Don't get me wrong...I like ibis, but c'mon...I wanted to see spoonbills! I took more than several pictures, and I have to say after seeing them on the computer...they weren't in very good focus, and I don't know why. Disappointing, because I don't get to see them very often.

We started THE process today, the van packing process. I took down 2 grocery carts full and the bottom layer...from the front seats to the rear hatch...is completely covered. I don't mind saying that I am more than a little concerned. (Not really...not yet.)

Breakfast food for supper, because we're trying to clear out the refrigerator. I think we're leaving on Sunday.
