Standing Tall

On my 4 mile walk today on Dartmoor I heard at least 3 cuckoos, though I didn't manage to locate and see any of them.  They really are peculiar birds.
Took a couple of photos of Hingston Stone row and circle. The main blip photo shows part of the Stone row. In the background you might be able to see the radio and television transmitter mast on North Hessary Tor. The upright stones and the mast are separated by thousands of years but both are linked in different ways by the common theme of communication. The extra gives a more complete view of the circle, cairn and stone row which stretches out across the moor.
