Green gold...
Slept late again today after being awake for two hours during the night. No reason other than I just didn't feel sleepy. Probably due to all the snoozing I did yesterday afternoon.
Once I was showered I realised I felt a good bit better. My left eye has stopped watering and I'm not blowing my nose quite so much. I look a little less like Rudolph :-))
J took Alan for a haircut. He looked very smart when he returned. D headed off to play golf locally and I got comfy in my chair and actually managed to get some crochet done of the other pram blanket I'm making.
When D returned we went into the garden for a little while. The fresh air was so lovely. I am definitely feeling a bit better as my head was too sore to contemplate going outside yesterday.
It's so lovely to see all the trees and shrubs springing into life. The daffodils are still lovely and the tulips yet to flower. The wood spurge that I've blipped is in full bloom. It will need trimming back as it's getting a little too comfortable in its spot and starting to take over. It's funny but these days when I see colour in the garden I immediately think of it in terms of watercolour paint. This made me thing of green gold :-))
We've had a lazy evening. Dinner was pizza from the golf club. They have installed a proper pizza oven and the pizzas are amazing.
A relaxing evening watching rubbish tv and enjoying berry flavoured lemsip.
