MORECAMBE BAY AT CONISHEAD PRIORY BEACH

Aaarggh not again - I went to add the map to this blip, it got stuck and  I lost everything I typed again!!!!!

Oh well never mind - here goes AGAIN.

Thank you all so much for your lovely messages on  my return, they are so lovely and very much appreciated.  It is so good o be back.

Hubby and I took Garron to Tescoes at Barrow to sort out the phone that he had bought there last year and which hasn't really worked since.  All sorted now, thank heavens.

Then we came home via the Coast Road as on a beautiful day like to day it is such a lovely drive and all the beaches had very few people on them.

We  went into Conishead Priory Peace Cafe for delicious homemade Pea and Mint soup with a sandwich.  Too much for me so I had to leave some, but delicious all the same.

Then whilst Garron was browsing in their shop Hubby and I had a lovely stroll down to the beach - so few people and so lovely.  As you can  just about see there was a train going over the viaduct as we arrived.

We then just came home - roads all quiet and lovely and we could see steam up from Haverthwaite Station.

For any of you that have had special days and/or anniversaries whilst I've been I wish you all the very best and look forward to reading many more of your blips.

Do take care and I will see you all tomorrow (fingers crossed).
