Ashford

Another epic trek to the family holiday destination began soon(ish) after finishing work at lunchtime and ended (for today, at least) in the somewhat less than auspicious environs of a retail park in Ashford: home to a Pizza Hut, where we ate our tea, a Travelodge, where we slept and a motorway footbridge, where I dragged the boy in between the eating and the sleeping to get a blip for the day.
