Turkish coffee and backgammon
We walked up to the castle in the morning, but unfortunately you couldn't go inside it. Still, it was worth it for the brilliant views of Kars you got.
My sister and I got ice creams and mum and dad got Turkish coffee in these fancy mugs. We sat in the cafe for a while playing backgammon before heading down the hill to some ruined hammams (Turkish baths). The ruins were quite cool but could have done with a bit of doing up as it stank and was covered in glass.
