From Forglen Hall

Rather than the city pilates exercise class, today was what @HarlingDarling calls 'green gym'. Hoeing, weeding, leaf raking, leaf moving for several hours of garden tidying. There were a puzzling amount of mid size tree branches, until I worked out they were a result of the replacement electricity pole being put in last autumn. No great damage; the electricity pole people just didn't clear up after themselves, so I found a place for the branches.

Working on the roadside clearing leaves from below the boundary wall is a social exercise; everyone passing in a vehicle waves, and I talked to a grandparent and child pair who were out walking.  Another delivery appeared a day early, another friend came around in the early afternoon, then I was able to get out to walk. Cold ENE wind, 13C until the sun came out when it was suddenly warm enough to take a jacket off.

Blip is from the edge of the community hall which has a big cheerful border of daffodils, looking across the valley of the Cunning Burn towards Bogton.
