Bees and wallflowers

 
Blips are still limited to the garden, but today at least you have a bee! It’s so good to see the pollinators back in force - no butterflies yet, but hopefully they’ll make an appearance before too long. 

This white-tailed bee is really enjoying his time amongst the wallflowers - flowers I never really appreciated as a child when dad’s springtime garden was full of them. Now I love their velvety petals and subtle spicy scent. 

I’ve added an extra of the bee coming into land - just because I love the way the flower’s colour is reflected in his eye!
