On This Day

By Tweedy

Great Tit

Parus major

There was a pair darting about and singing loudly on Flora's seconds walk. Many other birds but I chose this one because I like the lichen on the tree. As well as the bird of course.

Karine Polwart was splendid last night. She really is an extraordinary weaver of words and music. Almost a local lass she was given a very warm reception. https://stirlingevents.org/albert-halls-event/karine-polwart/

Today has been busy. We have both been involved with significant meetings for our voluntary work. Both went well but the pressure takes it out of you, especially with another night of little sleep. This afternoon I must write the minutes of this morning's meeting then do a bit of plant sorting. Today is damp which is quite helpful to me.

I've a bit of organising to do then a quiet evening, I hope.
