Heavy Dew

The Waimate golf course had a very heavy dew this morning…but the 6 players were undeterred. At least it was the same for all of them. It is a lovely course - quite steep in places, lots of Autumn leaves for golf balls to hide in…yet they all had fun. I caddied for Jill who was declared the winner over the 3 days ! She now holds this wonderful plastic , gold coloured cup with her name added with a black marker pen! Part of her “winnings” is to organise the 2026 golf weekend!

After a lovely lunch, we all went our various ways to Christchurch, Dunedin, Arrowtown and Wānaka.

Billy was thrilled to see us, and then eventually Frida came home. She had such a wonderful time with Monty’s family - who love her almost as much as we do…..!
