The first buttercups of the year

Peter's favourite food is buttercup flowers.
He was treated to a handful today.  
They are not supposed to be too good for tortoises so I do ration them. (I think they are the equivalent of coffee for humans).
I took my Mum the first few lily of the valley flowers from my garden, and helped her eat a little soup and then yogurt.
Otherwise, I've mostly been preparing for going away .
