....Bad Lad......
I've been a naughty boy....so today I had to go on a speed awareness course..... 4 hours!
I wasn't keen.......but to be fair it was quite interesting......not so much a speed course as a road safety course.......and for people of my age enlightening as to how much the Highway Code has changed since we passed our tests!
Try a few of these and see if you still think you're a safe driver.
Where in this country would you see a Minimum speed limit 30mph sign?
What designates a road as a dual carriage way?
What is the speed limit on a dual carriage way for a car?
What is the National speed limit for a Transit van on a single carriageway?
Are flashing speed notifications on a motorway compulsory or advisory?
Under what circumstances are you allowed to cross a solid white line in the centre of the road?
If you hit a pedestrian at 40 mph what percentage would die?
What do the letters COAST stand for?
What location is the most common site for changes in speed limits?
If no speed limit is posted on a road what tells you what the limit is?
I only got four of these right at the start of the course!....and I was one of the high scorers!
Went to the quiz at the Bull again tonight...we won again....that's three times in the last four weeks.
