Wayward Sons

It was never in my original plans to end up back at the sis-in-laws house two weeks after we left. But here we are!

The plan formulated on Friday. Dawns brother, Richard, is back from Australia. He landed in Gatwick and stayed in London. Seeing as we in the locality we offered to take him home. It's only a three hour drive from here so we arranged to pick him up from Colchester.

So it was time to say goodbye to our good friends Gavin and Kate. We can't thank them enough for all that they have done for us over the past week. The trip to Amsterdam will probably be the highlight of the year.

We are staying at dawn's parents house, who are away, which feels a little odd.

Shattered tonight ... I think I will sleep well.
