The Vomit Comet

Despite waking up a little later than usual, the wee man was in a great mood this morning. It's always nice when he wakes up this way as it gives me the perfect opportunity for a little play before work.

Unfortunately the smiles didn't last very long. By lunch time, the poor boy's belly had turned and he was spewing up all over the place. And I mean ALL over the place. Like a scene from the Exorcist, this child's vomit covered everything - Mum and Dad included (I came home to help).

Try as he did, he just couldn't hold down his milk. I know we're supposed to keep him hydrated by trying to feed him but he was getting so upset that we ended up putting him to bed on an empty stomach. I'm sure he'll wake us up if when he gets hungry.

Looking back, some of his cousins were ill prior to Grandma's party. I guess the incubation period lasted a day or so.
