Half a pint?

These two friends of ours are both called Gill so the question is "what do you call 2 Gills?" The answer depends on where ou are, but the volumetric measure called a gill is generally (according to Wikipedia anyway) a quarter of a pint, therefore these two make half a pint!!

Today has been a different day! Funeral this morning of someone who was just 6 months older than me! Makes you think! Then a journey up the M5 & M6 motorways to meet up with these and some other friends for a mid-week weekend (if that makes sense) with a group that we meet with 3 or 4 times a year.

When I said I hadn't taken a photo today, these two immediately offered to be the blip for the day. So thank you Gill & Gill - we are probably in for some laughter and good food this week.
