No more bright green trousers

The day couldn't possibly pass without this being my daily recording. Such a landmark purchase for my beautiful baby boy.
Ian & I went & bought him his school sweaters & shirts today. He loved them & I beamed with pride at the same time that I sobbed inside after the passing & fond remembrance of his baby/toddler years.
I'm glad that we was there for the purchase as we ended up having to get age 7/8!
Makes me realise (I'm not sure he does yet though) that gone are the term time week days of him wearing an array of neon coloured jeans...
I'm sure the fact of the uniform being red will assist in his enthusiasm to wear it got the next 7 years...
