The empty bench

And no symbolic reference at all - it was just too darn windy to even think of sitting there!! A cold front has arrived and with it strong winds and rough seas. I nipped in to this viewpoint down the road from my house and took this photo from the car!!
We always get bad weather from Cape Town, so I hope when we go there on Friday the bad will have been replaced by sunny skies and no wind. We are leaving tomorrow and staying overnight in Knysna - a most beautiful place on the garden route and where I spent a few very happy years working at the local hospital - way back in the 1970's!
