Pond marginal pond

Someone has threatened to 'tidy up' the pond area where these little beauties are happily flowering. These are Blue Pickerel and most commonly used by dragonflies to lay eggs. I think I'm going to use the protected species card to make sure they don't find their way onto the compost heap!
