You'll never guess what's happened!

The driver of this magnificent train on the Severn Valley Railway is non other than my very own husband aka Head Gardner! I don't just mean standing on the footplate either, he's been shovelling coal and actually driving the train! He was so thrilled to be given the opportunity to do this, he and 7 other lunatics men have been given sole use of the train for the day (with some help from the professionals) and have driven from Kidderminster to Bridgenorth....back to Kidderminster.....to Bridgenorth ....and eventually back to Kidderminster!
Whilst all this has been going on I've been in one of the 2 very smart carriages drinking champagne and having the best of times with the 7 wives. We have been laughing since we met yesterday and this will go on long into this evening, I'm sure.
Opportunities like this don't come along often and I am so thankful that we have been able to do it!
