Day 7 - The Statue of Liberty from the crown

Today was very rainy, but we took a boat over to the Statue of Liberty where we had tickets to climb right up to the crown! It was 393 steps up a very narrow spiral staircase that takes you right up through the middle of the hollow statue. It was amazing to see all the small details but from the inside - even down to strands of hair! We spent about 10 minutes at the top and I took this photo of her arm from one of the small windows in her crown.
