Nearly time to harvest

Well, it can't be long now. I got in a short walk before the rain started. My muscles are playing up so I'm trying not overdo the computer (fat chance). I can't say it's the most successful plan I've ever actioned, but it's a good excuse to get out.

The barley here is looking rather creamy. In reality it is smelling very strong and just waiting for the harvester. Think beer. If they don't get on with it the rain will come and wash it out and that will never do.
