16 years married to my soulmate :-)

Celebrated with a homemade monkfish and prawn curry (ignore the digestives, they sustained me through the making of the curry - took a while!).

There was a lot of chat over the dinner table about the origins of the universe.

Eldest has a very elegant theory about a black hole that eventually eats itself and implodes (he's going to share this with NASA in the not too distant future - should clear up a few conundrums they've been mulling over for a while).

Youngest has a splendid theory that we're all characters in a book and with each turn of the page there is a corresponding spin of the earth.

Let's hope he's talking Encyclopedia Brittanica and not Janet and John.
