Strictly speaking I'm no "Geordie", we probably live closer to Durham than Newcastle. I can assure you we are nothing like the folk you see on the television programmes filmed in the North East. I swear they pick the roughest areas and the most dreadfully uneducated people to film. Maybe I'm just a snob!
