Messrs Darker and Grimm

I may have mentioned before that the builders of our house rejoiced in the grand Victorian, Lemony-Snicketty monikers of Messrs Darker and Grimm - today we got a load of old paperwork from the solicitors that not only confirmed the fact but contained their actual beautiful copperplate signatures. Fabulous, crunchy old documents; Beck's in her element deciphering codicies and researching the history of the building. Apparently it was also owned for a spell by a Mr. Freek, I kid you not...!
