Cookies and movies

Too tired to decide about the blip so this was the easiest......all indoors....
A gloomy, overcast, cool day today. Not warm and sunny enough to go to the beach as planned. Oskar has been asking to make chocolate chip cookies as we do each time he is here, so after breakfast that is what we did! One happy boy. Slow moving morning. Much minecraft and other game playing. Took a walk and ate some blackberries. Spit rain on and off all day - nothing worthwhile. Watched the Bourne Legacy movie in sections --- went for the neighbors hot tub midafternoon when the teenagers weren’t in it. Tired these 3 out for the rest of the movie (the blip!) but they rallied for some studio time as the sky got darker and more ominous. Nik and Tatum made some beautiful “tie-dyed” coffee filter paper yesterday to cover some gummed paper beads today, but altho pretty, it didn’t hold their interest - so Nik is making a small car, Tatum is drawing and playing with the gummed paper., and Oskar who never does what everyone else does, is making a car out of the big cardboard box the grill came in. Dinner conversations tonight incuded some child they know that throws hammers, the holy grail (the ice cream dish apparently looked like it) and D-day. Board game (Wildcraft) after dinner. Everyone in good spirits... No broken bones or bruised egos.
I think messing about in boats all day is MUCH easier!
