ANOTHER boat

One can never have too many boats...... :-)
We finally got our little tin boat back from the marina on Saltspring Is where they failed to fix the old Honda engine and so we bought a new Yamaha 25 (which you can't see here) ---but it took forever to get it from the dealer and then they didn’t send the controls with it, and then they sent the WRONG controls so every step of incompetence fulfilling the order took time. Of course we had to take it out today on the ice cream run (Tatum is finishing her triple chocolate brownie cone)- in the rain and wind. And of course Nik wants to drive this boat too --so he’s learning....that's Galiano Island in the background.

Too overcast and cool to go to “morning beach” so we went to the Montague Harbor Marine Park on Galiano in the morning and had a nice walk around Gray’s point. NO takers for swimming off the fine beach here however. It also sprinkled some on us.....

A bit of time in the studio --actually Herb and I had a moment alone there (with a glass of wine) while they finished a movie, figuring out what to do with their projects . Our ideas were rejected of course, but we really enjoyed the quiet moment..... And then after dinner (the dinner conversation including "catchwords" and what one does with them...)the sun came out briefly so there was a bit of hanging out in the inflatable...but not a great sunset....

It would be nice if summer returned tomorrow!
