Melvaig Beach

We went to the very north of Scotland today and visited Melvaig Beach ! I had never been here before and couldn't get over the warm colour of the sand and all round colours. I have seen photos of this beach in magazines but never thought it could be this good! The sea is the Pentland Firth which separates Scotland from the Orkney Islands and can be very bad for sailing across or through. Although I have done it many times on the way across to Orkney!
