Waiting for the tide and.......

......drinking tea.

Had to investigate the log not working on the boat. I could have pulled the unit out while she was afloat and put the blanking plug in quickly but you get an awful lot of water through a 50mm hole - and it all needs mopping up.
So I went out to the boat on a falling tide, did make do and mend until the tide left her on her keels, then took out the underwater unit without drama, cleaned off the barnacles, painted it with anti foul (about as much use as a chocolate teapot in this case) and put it all back before the tide returned.
Now waiting for enough water to be able to get back to shore without plodding through the mud.
