Shark!

I stupidly got my dates muddled and this entry should be for Friday 16 August.

I moved back into the hostel downtown today, much better to be back in the centre of things! I spent the morning trying to figure out what to do after our stint on the farm, but feeling none the wiser at the moment.

We caught the shark bus to the Sea Life Centre this afternoon, which is very cool and almost worth the price of admission it itself! We saw some empire penguins, giant sting rays and sharks, amongst other things. It has been raining all day and the forecast for the weekend is for more of the same. We're all starting to realise that we need to be a bit careful with money, so cheap nights in for now.

Several of the group have gone off to different places, so there is just a small contingent of us left in Auckland.
