ten hours, a tissue box, and a chinese romance

i had a hard time deciding on a shot today. my friend kaleigh and i had a camera war, and she's such a beautiful model i was thinking of a head shot. but this candid shot captured the day's content all too well.

kaleigh is my best friend whom i haven't seen in over a month. [its sad when teenagers are so busy in the summer they can't see their friends.] she's been through a lot since the last time we've been able to speak. both of us are questioning love right now, due to certain circumstances in our lives. it was one of my favorite conversations ever, and one we both really needed.

we're growing up. it's scary. at least we've got each other.
