Painting...

Unfortunately time at South Luwangwa has come to an end and we are making our way back to Malawi today! We had a bit of a relaxing morning as we didn't have to leave until 8am. On the way we stopped at Tribal Textiles a rural craft outfit which generates employment for the locals. I have also been here before and it was great to see how much it has developed and there is now a wonderful shopping area with beautiful bags, cushions, wall hangings and other gorgeous textiles. Here you can see one of the men painting the cushions. I bought a cushion - I was glad I left my credit card at home!

Arrived late afternoon in Lilongwe and we decided to stay the night and leave early tomorrow as my friend has a bridal shower to prepare for and needed to be back on Saturday morning!!

So we had a lovely meal out in Lilongwe to finish our few days away :-)
