Hermaness
Had a bit of a slower start today. After packing the tent away we stayed on the beach for a while watching more Red Throated Divers and a very inquisitive Seal. Finally we got back on the bikes and continued north through Yell. After brief stop off in Mid Yell to pick up supplies, we caught the ferry across to Unst, the most northerly inhabited Island in the UK.
Our goal was to get up to the Hermaness National Nature Reserve and the northern tip of the Island. This has to be one of my favorite Islands in Shetland, it has lot of rugged beauty also one or two very strange sights.
At Hermaness we had another Puffin-tasic time. MrsB did her best to snatch one as a souvenir but without much success! We also saw loads of Bonxie's, but thankfully weren't dive bombed! Spent the night camping on the beach at the head of Burra Firth.
