West Sandwick, Yell

With the infamous Shetland wind at our backs today, we sailed northwards up the archipelago all the way from Sumburgh in the South Mainland to West Sandwich on Yell. It was a great ride, back up past Lerwick, around Dales Voe and half up the isle of Yell. Managed to find a fantastic camping spot on the wonderful beach at next to the village. After dinner we sat around on the rocks watching Red Throated Divers, a fairly rare UK sea bird outside of the Northern Isles. A beautiful location.
