August Blue

This hibiscus is always late in flowering, but nevertheless I was getting a little anxious last week as nothing had happened!
But now the little bush has at least ten flowers!
Although from foreign lands, it is not tender, so lives outside quite happily.
Today I have been thinking about getting an apple tree for the garden, but there seem to be so many species and types!
Just a little apple tree that would give us some crunchy sweet fruit in the autumn would be lovely!
