No more extreme sports for Neil.....

Neil went on his bike today to Cannock Chase after me telling him twenty times please be careful, and him telling me he'll be fine!

So as I'm walking around Shrewsbury I get the dreaded call from Ne 'I've fell off my bike and done something to my arm'??

I tell him to pop along to A&E as its probably nothing, to be told an hour later he has an undisplaced distal radius fracture and wanted to put him in cast for 6 weeks! I think the nurse took pity on him and called the consultant to check the X-rays to see if he could get away with wearing a sling, in which he agreed. The news is still not good as Ne is a graphic designer therefore his right arm and thumb and finger on his left hand is what pays the mortgage. It also means as well as working full time I will have to sort Daisy out everyday, take and fetch him from work and do just about everything, the joys! I draw the line at helping with toilet duties though.

So the poor boy is in quite a bit of pain thinking of how he can use his mouse tomorrow and how he will get through the week when 3 of the 5 workforce are on holiday. Please excuse me this week if my blips are rubbish, it will be down to lack of time and energy. Please get well soon Ne, I need you.
