Yippee the carpet is up...

Since the day we moved in to our house I hated the green carpet in our hallway to the point I once knocked a bottle of nail varnish down the stairs and was so chuffed at the thought of having a new carpet, but no such luck.

So when Neil ripped the carpet up to unveil a lovely tiled floor and lovely wooden steps I had the biggest smile on my face. Neil was supposed to spend the next weekend painting the stairs before we have the new carpet runner fitted. As I'm writing this Neil has since broke his arm therefore I'm not sure how we are going to now get the stairs finished after already once delaying the carpet fitting.

Roll on 4 weeks when Neil can start moving his arm, his jobs are building up!
