Canal at Hebden Bridge

We left our friends near Preston today and drove to Huddersfield to another friend for lunch, and stopped here for a quick coffee break on the journey. Great food/coffee in the Watergate Tea Shop here too.

Early on in the journey our TomTom satnav kept telling us to travel via the motorway, but we wanted the scenic route over the Penines and so ignore its instructions. Eventually it gave up and agreed we could go our way!
Made me wonder how often others tell us what to do, ignoring our wishes because they think they know better. We need to know when to listen and when to ignore.
