Only a duck?

It may appear to be 'only' a duck, but when you look at the intricate details of the feathers, how colourful they are and how they lay on top of each other you see real beauty and design. The shine on the bill and the fact that feathers can be waterproof just add to the wonder

I wonder how often we classify things and indeed people by saying "its only a ....". How often do we miss out on the wonder and the awe by a quack quick reaction without really stopping to see and think carefully?
