Now we have everything

He's on the move!

When Charlie met with his boys last week he was showing off his commando crawl. Kelly and Emily were telling me that 'counts' as crawling and that he's now mobile, but again I was in denial. Until today when he practically rubs it in my face.

When I was sat doing my makeup earlier today, Charlie was playing on the rug until I look up and watch him promptly stop, set his focus on the door and hallway and start to make an (albeit slow) run for it! I caught it on video and it's great to watch. You can see the look of determination on his little face.

In the afternoon we headed over to West London to meet Robin at the Westfield. He was going there early from work to get his phone fixed at the Apple store. I thought we'd allow an hour's travel time. Ninety minutes later we were parked up on the North Circular due to a gas leak at Hanger Lane. Charlie had been asleep but had woken up and was getting hot, bothered and bored I think. I was throwing rice cakes over the back of his (rear facing) car seat to distract him!

We finally made it to my old stomping ground and after a visit to the Apple Store and a few other shops we somehow found ourselves in Wagamamas. Charlie's first trip where he can join us at the table. We were mean and ordered dishes he couldn't share so he had to make do with some sticky rice and his Ella's Kitchen Lamb Stew (which tastes foul by the way. Ew). He seemed perfectly happy with it though.
