Spectacle Island sea glass

We took a ferry boat out to Spectacle Island in Boston Harbor today with one of T's old friends from work. It was slightly overcast, but a really excellent day to be out on the water and explore a cool harbor island. The sea glass and pottery shards almost outnumber the rocks and shells on the beach. I have never seen so much in my life and it was really torture to pick up amazing pieces and have to drop them back down and leave them. The island was beautiful with great views of the city . It was great to be out in the sea air again and we've come home freckled(me) and happy.

This day came in warm, but overcast. The weather held, no rain till we came home.
