Happy Birthday Stuart & Walk around the Mount

Maple and Bailee celebrated daddy's birthday with a walk around Mount Maunganui. Oscar, meanwhile had some time with Nanny and Pop in Papamoa. We sure missed daddy today and enjoyed skyping him very much. We found a card with dogs barking 'Happy Birthday' and Bailee delighted in playing it for daddy.

The walk was glorious. The sun was out and the air was crisp. We saw seals on the way and the ocean was gorgeously blue. Bailee did very well and probably walked a whole kilometre of the three we walked in total.

Oscar and Bailee missed each other a lot. They coped very well, and enjoyed their time apart but certainly mentioned each other a lot. When they finally reunited 24 hours later, the looks of satisfaction were priceless. Oscar seemed very happy to see Maple again too.
