Lackford Lakes Nature Reserve

I had the day off work so decided to come to this beautiful reserve to take in the vistas across the sailing lakes. It's an important site for overwintering wildfowl and several green sandpipers were present during my visit. The volunteers that run the cafe and visitor centre are admirably enthusiastic and experienced and its a pleasure to speak with them about the reserve.
