Sunflower

I woke up to sunshine and there was a tiny window of bright skies when I walked the dog and took some photos of flowers in the gardens around here but by 10am the rain had come in. It then rained continuously for the rest of the day.

The boys abandoned their plans to play golf and so we sat around all morning but after lunch I took them to the indoor pool complex in Davos. It is huge, with a large diving pool, a lap pool and very high water slide in a tube (so it is dark) and one of those indoor outdoor pools that is great fun when there is snow lying on the ground outside. I sat reading my book and having a café crème - basically a double espresso with a touch of milk.

So a sunflower today to wish the sun back tomorrow - I think it has worked as I believe the forecast is sunny again from tomorrow.
