Home from Iceland

Home after a fantastic week in Iceland with what must have been the best 5 days walking we have ever done. The scenery was spectacular and incredibly varied, the walking challenging at times but not too hard. The guide Kristjan was excellent and our fellow travellers great company.

It's a shame it's over but good to be able to sleep in a bed, have a warm shower and be able to stand up straight or sit on a comfortable chair when inside

The boots and sandals used for river crossings have been cleaned of mud and volcanic ash until the next time.
