Petsitting

Our friends' pets: Joey the dog and Gaston the cat, who I am going to have the pleasure of feeding once a day while their owners are on vacation. The cat is bigger than the dog! After I took this photo, I had to get them both back inside the house before I left. The dog was very amenable but the cat was a different story! Gaston weighs at least 16 lbs and is very stubborn! I tried to pick him up by the scruff of his neck like I do with Persi but he was way too heavy, so I just dragged him by the scruff, with his back paws partially supporting his weight, with a whole lot of hissing and growling at this most undignified treatment! I won't be letting him out of the house again in a hurry!
