Little Dutch Shoes

My parents came to Canada in 1957 from Holland. I have always loved everything Dutch, but since they have died, I love it only more.

My home is filled with Delft Blue and anything else Dutch I can get my hands on.

I decided to take a photo of these wooden shoes because they put a smile on my face today when I remembered how our grandchild, Lillian, tried them on last Christmas when she was here for a visit.

She was disappointed that her feet were too big for them. She then pointed to my collection of teeny weeny wooden shoe and assurred me that one of them could possibly fit one of her Barbie's.

She picked one out that she thought was perfect for her doll.
