Eye Test

My 2 yearly eye appointment was due so I popped down at lunchtime. I had my blip all planned, I thought “I am going to take a really cool picture of all the little lenses the swap in and out of those giant test specs!” Sorted... Nope!

It seems this particular optician has moved with the times and all of those individual lenses are now housed in the machine at the back of this picture. Although this ruined my blip idea it is so much better! No more giant specs falling off your nose and so much quicker too!

Don't you think they look like something out of Wall-E?

You still have the “what is better 1... or 2” banter with the optician and trying to work out if that letter is an F or an E then finding out it is really a U or something random when you get the prescription right! Having worn glasses since I was very young I am very used to the optician and find it, weirdly, a little bit fun!

Anyway, eye are healthy and as expect have changed slightly. No rush to change the lenses in my glasses but will do in the near future
