Flashing Purple-Edged Copper

Bright orange, Palaeochrysophanus hippothoe - what a mouthful for the prettiest butterfly I have seen this year! It was just over another bridge in this wonderful Zinal valley where I sat in the sun to warm up after the firt yoga course of the day. The practice rooms do not seem to have heating, they must be trying to turn us into real yogis!

Amazed at the response to my suicidal Daddy Long-legs yesterday, thank you all for its spotlight. I now have a restaurant where I can sit with a coffee for half an hour to blip, just going there again to have desert, blipping costs a fortune when in the camping car!
