Eye, eye ..

I really must learn to identify white butterflies! This one was in the garden - usually when I use the macro lens I faff about endlessly, but for this shot I idly snapped a shot as I was passing, and it's ended up being (in parts!) the most in focus photo of the day!

I went to Sunk Island and tried to get shots of the little egret - but it was far away so they're all a bit grainy.

I bumped into my Yorkshire Wildlife Trust friend (as I often do when I'm out there) and she gave me tips about places to look for water voles and dragonflies and other such exciting things!

In the evening the foxes all turned up - six of them - and were very entertaining indeed!

I *do* love a pouncing cub!
