Canyoning and other sports...

We were up early today to spend the whole morning canyoning... Fred booked this a week ago convinced I would like it - he was right! We suited up in wet suits and waded through a freezing Highland river, jumped into deep pools off rocks, followed wires through rapids, went down zip wires into water and sat behind a waterfall (my 'Last of the Mohicans' moment).
This is the 'before' picture I was too exhausted to remember an 'after' one - but the grin would have been bigger (although wetter)!
After some lunch, the afternoon was spent on a long on/off road cycle which Alex was very good at considering that he only learnt to ride a bike in April.
We had supper back at the bunkhouse and slept well - totally knackered!
